I'm asking him to explain why he's a monarchist and I'm getting back that he is so because of Liverpool supporters...which is no explanation at all.

It's fair enough if he doesn't want to elaborate why he's a monarchist, just say that and dont hide behind Liverpool.

I doubt all 17, sorry...21 who show support for the monarchy are errrr, hiding behind Liverpool.

They'll have their own reasons. They can share, but it's basically nobodies business but there's.

I couldn't give a hoot, monarchists, sexuality, religion...they can believe what they want just don't myther me with any of it.

The biggest deciding factor for me is this; if the monarchy was to be abolished right now, Liz Truss and her cabinet would be the people responsible for delivering a functioning Republic. Quite frankly, that terrifies me. So long live the King.

Presidents can be ceremonial in nature with few if any powers. They're elected and they wouldn't cost billions.

That very phrase could have been used 100s, maybe thousands of times to counter your repeated guff in the stadium thread.

You'd often post things with extremely flimsy reasoning and declare them as fact. Just let people believe what they want, it's absolutely nothing to do with you.

Let me place on the record I am flabbergasted by the poll results that show the vast majority of Evertonians do not believe in a monarchy and as such those Evertonians who do must feel some form of dissonance, even hypocrisy, from choosing to be part of both tribes.

Correct me if I’m wrong but do you sense a massive overlap between the angry, the obtuse, the hateful, the Brexit and the monarchists friend? It’s just something suggested to me and I can’t be sure really.

Personally I think the UK is populated by rational, sensible people who would not get excited by flags, nationalism, strange and archane rituals, traditional hierarchies, tribalism and jingoism.

I can't understand what is happening.
