Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Cheers Joe. Yeah Cal was such a warm, generous and funny person. Everybody loved her.

Just back from the walk now. The tide was right out so there was lots of golden sand and a fantastic view over to St Anthony Lighthouse and the Roseland Peninsular. But it's the smell of the sea that hits you like a smack in the face the second you emerge from the wooded valley into the cove. Cal would have just loved it.
Sounds like my perfect place for a walk Fred I love the coast.

Morning guys, hope everyone is well? Made the mistake of popping into the main forum earlier, won't do that again for awhile, it's getting fiesty
It's always Benitez is God, no he's the devil incarnate.

I'd never have appointed him , crazy decision by Moshiri , bound to divide the fan base.

Anyway everything about Everton is a bit poo right now so yes , this is a much nicer place to spend time.

Do you really think it was a crazy decision? I sometimes think it was well thought strategy to shift blame for any bad outcomes on Benitez, while saving some money, until the stadium is built.

Yeah Jazzy its a sanctuary in here.. for now. If the derby goes bad though there'll be no safe hiding place. Afternoon folks, afternoon @messymascot, hope you're feeling well buddy.

Perhaps or perhaps you give Moshiri too much credit Sassy.

I suspect Moshiri thought Benitez was a safe pair of hands to take us to the new stadium when he can sell up and make a killing.

Did he see Benitez as a lightening rod for fan discontent, I'm really not so sure.

Anyway although we are able unlike those in another place to debate this rationally I worry that the mods might take the view that this isn't the correct forum.

You may be right about that. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but you all know Moshiri better than me. However, if he didn’t see Benitez as a lightening rod for fan discontent then he needs to get out of the business of running a football club because even me who is not a long follower knew his appointment will be conflicting among the fan base.

I think the top and bottom of it is Sassy that Moshiri does not give a damn about the fans.

Morning everyone ,

This thread seems to have morphed from acoustic guitars to the Jamie Oliver thread in days.....I can't keep up.

Anyway Messy, I hope you slept well mate and feel.up to posting. It would be lovely to see a message from you.

Broke the Jazzy rule last night of not drinking in the week , but slept well.

However I awoke with a really sore arm , same as the wife , can only be a delayed reaction from our Pfizer booster 2 days ago.

Lovely and crisp day here so perhaps some more leaf collection and the batten down the hatches before the forecasted storm on Friday.

Hope y'all have a good one.
Just back from having my booster jab mate. I had the the Moderna. Only a little prick. Bit disappointed that nobody mentioned the side effects though.

The old ones are the best. ;) ;)
