Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Which coffee do you prefer.? Or is that a bit too obvious? lol
Once in my life Fred have I ever had a coffee (I know I know), the smell of it always turned me off. I was 16 and drunk as a fool at a house party, my father was collecting me and the lads were trying to sober me up and gave me coffee. That is the only time coffee has ever passed my lips, which in today's society makes me a bit weird I guess

Nero's coffee probably went straight over your head then. What a waste of a good joke. Well I thought it was good even if nobody else did. lol

I get what you mean though. I do like a nice coffee from time to time and probably make myself one 2 or 3 times a week at breakfast time. Sometimes the neighbour will pop in for a chat and I'll put the coffee pot on then, and very occasionally I'll go for a coffee when I'm out. But some people's lives revolve around coffee drinking.

Perhaps or perhaps you give Moshiri too much credit Sassy.

I suspect Moshiri thought Benitez was a safe pair of hands to take us to the new stadium when he can sell up and make a killing.

Did he see Benitez as a lightening rod for fan discontent, I'm really not so sure.

Anyway although we are able unlike those in another place to debate this rationally I worry that the mods might take the view that this isn't the correct forum.
I sometimes wonder if Moshiri is somewhere on the spectrum. He appears to live in a bubble. He's probably great at number crunching, but when it comes to relating to the wider world he often comes across as an idiot, although he's obviously not. His PR interviews are nearly always a disaster. Who can forget the voodoo comments about Lukaku's mum?

Do you know I think you are spot on.

I posted a few weeks back that he reminds me of someone I used to work with....he held a very high position of influence and power , had an incredible intellect but zero emotional intelligence, social skills or empathy.

No lads, the man comes from a culture of yes men where hes never had to mix with the working class unwashed. If he was on the 'spectrum' hed have loveable qualities like my child and grandchild.
You may be right Joe, and no one's saying that being on the spectrum should in any way be considered a negative. It can make a person a genius in their field of expertise, but can sometimes present major challenges for them in other areas. Some experts think Einstein had Asperger's.

A friend of my missus has a son who's been classified as being on the spectrum and he's a lovely lad. A real character who makes me laugh. He appears to have inherited quite a few traits from his dad, who I get on really well with. Maybe Moshiri does have some lovable traits that we're not aware of. We only see his public persona.

Imo mate hes just abit of a knob.Maybe with other billionaires hes a hoot. Hes just not used to talking to, or socialising with lesser than himself. Doesnt appear to be autistic to me mate. Just an unlikeable person.
