Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning Messy and fellow Mascoteers,

Got up a little later today and tentatively pulled the curtains back in trepidation of the forecasted storm and.....nothing so far.

It's a bit wet and a bit windy but guess the worst is to come.

Sincerely hope that you are feeling bit better today Messy and a message from you and/or update from Reedy would be wonderful and hopefully reassuring.

I somewhat stupidly agreed to man the animal charity stall at Ormskirk Market tomorrow.

For those of you that know Ormskirk it is windy at the best of times and 50mph winds forecasted for tomorrow. God knows how the marquee will remain in 1 piece.

Sassy hope Thanksgiving was lovely for you and you are not too hungover??.

Stay safe everyone.

Morning Messy, Fred and the gang. Wet in Kent, but not as windy as other parts of the country appear to be.

My daughter has started her daily countdown to Christmas, which she will now gleefully update us on every morning at breakfast. 28 days to go!

Hope you had a restful sleep Messy, and you're feeling comfortable today. Would be great to hear from you if you feel up to it.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Messy, Fred and all, a beautiful morning up here, didn't make Glasgow yesterday, mum in laws heating was playing up, by the time we got it sorted it was too late so stayed local, had a nice meal at the local Chinese restaurant and very conveniently there is a good pub opposite .
Hope you are all good today, thoughts turning to this weekends game, we need a win to take the pressure off if nothing else, what do you reckon our chances are Messy?

Morning Messy. Hope all OK with you and you had a peaceful night. Morning all.

My arm is really aching his morning after the Moderna jab yesterday. Couldn't lie on that side last night in bed as it was painful to the touch too. Didn't have these problems with the AZ jabs.

Weather not too bad down here yet although the wind and rain are forecast to build up later in the day. It's a good day for doing housework which I have a bit to do as 2 of my best mates are coming down on Monday for a few days. Weather forecast isn't great which is a shame, but I'll be glad of the company and really looking forward to seeing them.

Looks like we're going to get the brunt of the storm tomorrow, especially down in the far west of Cornwall where I am. Gusts of upto 80mph are forecast so it's going to be a real batten down the hatches day.
