Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Thx @Terrarian . I spent yesterday evening reading the first 260 pages of the thread and felt very humbled by Karl. I find myself here due to my own health issues and the wonderful support of members on the mental health thread which pale into insignificance by comparison. But Karl's legacy in terms of the friendship of the Everton forum members had been hugely beneficial for me as I'm sure it has been for so many others. What a wonderful guy and what a wonderful community. Thanks for the welcome 💙
You'll find out that there are quite a few Evertonian dogs on this thread Daisy, Tintin, Rosie and Nora spring to mind.😀

In the sky last night we noticed two very bright "stars" near the moon it is reported in the news it was Jupiter and Venus .It was not a clear sky but I will be watching again tonight ,this is how lively it can get out in the countryside
Funny you mention that blue, I took this last night while walking. The top one is Jupiter, Venus below.

Hi everyone. Just to introduce myself... Long time lurker on the forum, only lurking in this thread since yesterday on @anjelikaferrett 's recommendation. Southern softy living in Essex with my wife, two teenagers who largely ignore me and a black Labrador called Tilly who loves me because I feed her! Love the spirit and community feel of this thread. Looking forward to 3 points against the Villa. 💙
Welcome @Rich B ,you are well advised coming on here .I am sure you have gathered by now that we are all respectful toward each other and all are free to say what they want but arguements are for other threads .

I have reloaded Stellarium on my mac ,I had it on the last one and it is amazing ,free and very simple to use .Just make sure you add your correct location and take no notice of the "landscape " as that doesn't match where you are . Brilliant photo that proved my memory is OK .

Thanks Armagh . I saw them clearly in Kilkenny, and then completely forgot to check when i got home what the second was. Venus is visible most nights if it is clear, bt I don't recall seeing Jupiter before - I am not an anorak stargazer, but do take a passing interest if something interesting happening.

This may be of interest to Irish GOTers, although Merseysiders will probably get similar being close to Dublin

Freddo is the local cad and raconteur lol

Mind you everyone in here does a bit of jet setting apart from moi, I sit in my dark place alone 😂
Don't forget about me!! lol I rarely leave town.

And you're not alone, you have Daisy! Try dealing with a teenager as well as 2 cats and a dog who all play some version of King of the Stairs multiple times day!

being a southerner it feels you’ll fit right in With the majority !

Evening all. Regular viewers may recall that my eldest lad and his GF had chipped off to NZ for 2 years, maybe more, who knows.

Well, they have scratched their travel itch, and both start jobs in Wellington at KPMG next week.

In celebration, I have lit the log burner, and will enjoy steak, chips, mushrooms and peppercorn sauce later, on me knee watching Dragons Den. Possibly, (lol) with a spot of red. Had worse days like.

Oliver, (the lad) is horrified that he will have to wear a suit!
