Afternoon everyone. I couldn’t cope with a cat bringing me dead animals and birds which is why, as cute as they are, I’m definitely a dog person. Just got back from walking a beautiful American bulldog and a Dogue de Bordeaux/Boxer cross. Beautiful girls who considering their size are absolute poppets. Hearing a lot of rumours about Bill Kenwright this afternoon which, if untrue, are despicable. Also filled in a survey this week about preferences for seats in the new ground - it’s all getting exciting.
Your experience with the puds sound awful @Gwladysover - what did you have? Hope your backs improve guys - I can recommend a brilliant physio in West Lancs who cured mine and gave me specific exercises to do if I ever feel it coming back which stop it in its tracks. You know they’re good when their customer base consists of a lot of health professionals.
My car is in for its service etc tomorrow so that’s going to hurt my purse. Enjoy the rest of your day

Gracious me! Bit your face that’s awful. The moment I knew I would never have a cat was when I was at my friends house for tea and her cat, who was lovely by the way, jumped up on the kitchen work surface and started licking the butter .
Thank you for the . Turns out it’s just a service tomorrow and CAM belt next year so it could have been worse, but it’s still costing me more for the service than road tax and insurance put together .

Good morning all on this dark morninghere in Hyvinkää,I hope all are well and had a good night .I veture very rarely onto the rest of the site but I did build up the courage (after taking a beta blocker ) to visit the Bill Kenright thread ,it is sad that some are still having a go but the general feel is of sadness at the passing of a fine man ,as it should be. I'm around and about, mainly lurking and reading. Still not doing great and I'm sure you all don't want me continuously moaning about stuff that you've all heard a thousand times before.

I have a creepy story though, I've been meaning to share as I know some of you are into esoteric stuff with regards death.

If you recall my mother passed last boxing day anyway last weekend on the saturday, I suddenly started getting black flies in my kitchen. I couldn't see where they were coming from, they were just appearing everytime I went in the kitchen they'd be more.

I only used fly spray on a couple, yet here they were dying on my kitchen windowsill. I must of had about 30ish over the course of a few days, I just binned them all.

So I thought I'd have a giggle and I messaged my sister and said, I think mams trying to haunt me lol as I've had a ton of dead flies. She sent me a picture back saying, what like these(showed picture) and she'd had the same a few weeks before and had took a pic.

It has creeped me out a bit lol Still don't know where they came from. My sister even asked her neighbours but nobody else had them.

Have a good day anyway, I'll try catch up when I'm feeling not so down.

Horrible topic but yeah we had / have a massive fly problem.

We recently had the roof insulated and I went up to clear the loft before the workies arrived and noticed hundreds of flies so I put a couple of smoke bombs up. That killed them and I swept them all up.

2 days later when the workies started they reported lots of flies ( not dead) so I sprayed them and that seems to have done the trick ........................for now!

I've not heard of them before, I'll have a look when I get back from my walk. Definitely not a roof space though as I live in a bottom floor flat. Lots of grass around but not much soil. I just found it really weird my sister had them as well lol
