Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

As the sun was shining I had a wander to see how my wildflower meadow over the fence was doing. The blue Viper’s Bugloss are not as prolific as previous years, white Oxeye- Daisys are taking over so will need to do a bit of work to keep them going. Lots of bumble bees on their blue flowers though which is great to see. The purple ones are Greater Knapweed, and the small yellow ones Meadow Vetchling. The ever curious Junior came along to help me too 🙂.

Morning all, hazy sunshine here, the rain won’t arrive until tonight so at least it will be dry today if not warm . Blood test for me this morning, later Jess is coming round, her Mum and sister have an appointment to meet the form tutor at Hannah’s new secondary school. She is bound to play schools, better get the classroom ready or there will be trouble, don’t want to start off in detention.
We’re watching the re-make of Rebus. I really loved Ken Stott in the role, so wasn't sure how I’d take to a new one, a quick search revealed that was over twenty years ago. 🙀
Have a good day, all💙
I will always think of Ken Stott as Rebus , when I read the books.
The Rebus remake with a much younger Rebus would have worked if for instance it was set on the 80s when Rebus was much younger.

Morning all, our next door neighbour is running about in a skirt chanting something about mannsshaft ( you may have to have seen the IrnBru advert to get that) and Munchen , I think it’s some tribal celebration of this golden ball in the sky which has suddenly appeared!
Think your chum might not be feeling so bullish after tonight's game. A nice thrashing for the Scots and an injury to that rat Robertson might perhaps offset the Branthwaite news

Water consumption in Calgary continues to climb, and Mayor Jyoti Gondek is out with a stark warning.

“If our water usage continues to trend up and our water supply can’t keep up, the taps will run dry at some point,” she said during her update Friday morning. “We are facing an urgent crisis.”

Do you know what’s happened to our young goalkeeper Jack Barrett mate? He was on loan in Calgary?
