Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone,

Well the terrible spell of weather continues. That said managed to watch a couple of hours village cricket and cut the grass yesterday.

Agree with @Barnfred 55 about the non stop wall to wall coverage of the Euros final but still looking forward to it. Sadly I think Spain will just be too good for England and the years of hurt will carry on.

Well, whatever you do, have a lovely day everyone.

Morning everyone, well I’m so sick of this weather I’ve started taking vit D supplements again due to lack of sunshine. @anjelikaferrett im desperately in need of your skills as my washing machine has conked out 🙁. It’s still under warranty so I hope it will be sorted out quickly. Off to the pub again tonight to watch the game- I’ve not been out this much for ages 😂. Enjoy the game but I have many doubts about whether it will be coming home tbh. Have a great day all 💙

There were actually 2 of them very similar driving through the narrow Falmouth Streets. My friends thought they were in Monte Carlo 😀
Yes it would make me very nervous driving through narrow streets in something like that. Long story short years ago to cheer me up our local-ish Audi garage let me test drive an R8. Fabulous on the motorway but nerve wracking on small streets. It still is one of the highlights of my life (I know I’m a sad woman before anyone points it out 😉)

I had a similar experience. As a trainee solicitor I was playing cricket for the firm when one of the partners broke his arm. I was instructed to leave my old firms Ford Fiesta at the ground and drive his TVR home and bring it back the next day.

It was so powerful I was absolutely bricking it! Managed to deliver it in one piece.

Love the TVRs, don’t see many of them these days
