Good luck to G and AT for their visit to Goodison next week. Final season at the Old Lady and I really must make a concerted effort to get to more games this season.

Hi folks. Just got back from my second anti- fascist demo of the week. Wednesday was totally uplifting The community just coming together to look after each other. I was talking to an FBU rep who I haven't seen for ages. He said the scenes in Middlesbrough the day before were horrific. The far right scum ( there is no other word for them) we're setting houses on fire with people in them and actively trying to prevent the fire service from going in. How do people have so much hate in their hearts?
Today in Newcastle was a bit more political. I have never seen so many police in my life. The police had the EDL contained in the Bigg Market and we were having a very peaceful demo in a road in the town centre with the police at either end. I love the way the police are now friends with all the lefties! It was all very good natured but I did see a few EDL who tried to get to us. Sadly one of them was wearing an Everton top. That made me sad.
It's a gorgeous day here so I hope you enjoy whatever you are doing.
