Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

It was nice to be back at Goodison in the sunshine, sat in the Park End today so a different view to usual. Feeling positive about our new signings. Arrived early so we had a trip to the club shop and it just had to be done for our incoming baby blue who is never going to have a choice really 💙

That’s brilliant! Welcoming a new Toffee into the world is such a privilege.

@Eggs how is the family doing?

Good morning all om this fine day ,I hope all are well and had a good night's rest . I am a bit worried that Dyche has blinkers where players are concerned ,that Kevin can buy them but maybe he won't play them .There are glaring cases on the field of players not up to it and still he puts them on even though we have other options . Usually I am full of optimism but this year I worry ,especially if the rumours that we have dropped the price for Jarrad and it has been met by Utd are true .Have a great day all and well done to @Val P for picking on a poor soul who has no idea what she has done to ruin their peace of mind ! ….ah, thanks for asking.

Baby Alice arrived a month early but she’s doing great. Mummy is a bit sore so they’re still in hospital but I expect they’ll be home today. My son is chasing his tail a bit and we’ve had their other two daughters lots over the last few days, but they’re so good. Downside is watching Olympics on ‘the pad’ with Bluey on main telly.

My son was due at Haydock races yesterday with his mates but obviously couldn’t go. Regardless, the stuffy sod picked out two horses; ‘Old Cock’ & ‘New Arrival’ and put them in a £2.50 e/w double, they both won and he collected over £200

I expect more ‘Bluey’ on our TV today & Mrs Eggs doing a Sunday roast for them all.

Grandparents are a blessing at times like these and I’m sure you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Your son is having quite the run of luck indeed 😀

Good afternoon all. I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday. I'm pleased to hear that Baby Alice and her Mum are doing well @Eggs. Not much to report. Daughter is in bed after being on a 12 hour night shift, Mr F is snoozing on the sofa and I'm watching the Olympics.
We're away to Nottingham via Liverpool next weekend. My brother's (Australia based one) mother in law passed away and it is her funeral on Friday so we are going to go to that and then across to Nottingham. My brother, sister in law and my oldest niece are coming home for the funeral. One of his other daughters is 6 months pregnant so isn't making the trip and the youngest one is on a university placement in a hospital- she's studying to be a nurse- and can't miss it.
We are also in the end game of the sale of Dad's house - trying to arrange a mutually convenient day to complete. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Have a good one everyone x
