Joking aside mate the LA based owners of their management Company apparently had a VIP area at their LA show full of Hollywood A listers. The girls must be going back to their tour bus every night and just scream.

Boardmasters, a surfing/music festival held annually in Cornwall finished on Sunday, and you want to see the absolute mess that they have left. I swear there must be around 5000 abandoned tents amongst tons of other waste and rubbish. This is supposed to be a "green" festival but obviously nobody informed the festival attendees of that, and not for the first time either. Now I have a lot of time for our youngest generation and I'm embarrassed at the state of our country, and the world in general, that we are leaving for them to pick up the pieces. But this is one area where they consistently let themselves down.

On a brighter note, I'm attending my own festival tonight. It's Falmouth week and I have tickets to watch "Rock Night" which is showing Foo Fighters and ACDC cover bands. So it's a curry, a few beers and a bit of head banging for me.

Can I come? Sounds like a great day out

It was. You would have been most welcome. They would have enjoyed showing you their favourite display in the museum, the Victorian operating theatre complete with sound effects.. Every time we go it’s a “must see”, can’t drag them away.

Here’s one or two pics of the Monsters of the Sea exhibition. It was an animated display complete with sound effects which made for a surreal experience for about ten minutes when prayers were said.

Foo Fighters were superb. Stand far enough back and close your eyes you'd swear it was them. Lead singer looked more like Ronnie Van Zant who was my first music crush but I'll forgive him that. Just having a beer in the rain waiting for the main turn.
