Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Gen Z are as anti English as they are. They are gaining traction over here.. plus Gen Z globally seem to be of one mind, which is very anti establishment. I think what Kneecap are doing is representative of their generation. They'll be huge I'm sure.
Kneecap are more anti-establishment than anti-English but I know their Republican slogans will create doubt on that for some.

I did laugh at their Reading set when DJ Provai entered the Moshpit. He is a man who has done that before 😀

Hi everyone, hope you're not too disheartened about the football.

I'm trying to get myself back into the swing of posting but it's not happening at the minute. Feeling stressed a lot still, just trying to keep my mental health above the parapet.

Take care guys and enjoy the bank holiday.
Nice to hear from you T.

The football can’t be good for stress so don’t be unduly annoying yourself over that anyway. We stayed up under worse circumstances last year and will do so again.

We have those kind of gardening problems too. In the garden we have a couple of grapevines and olive trees which bear fruit every year but just as the olives and grapes start to look like they’re growing bigger along comes autumn and they never get chance to grow or ripen to the stage where you could eat them. Sadly they’re just too big to bring indoors over winter but they thrive very well through our northern winter which always surprises me. I also have a lemon and an orange tree which we do bring indoors but bizarrely for the first summer in a number of years neither has given us any fruit. I usually get enough lemons to put a slice in my gin but not this year. I’ve donated our avocado tree to my son as it’s too big to bring indoors and I can’t bear to watch it die.
I posted a photo last year of the neighbours grapevine here in Southern Finland .I will take another today to show you . Sadly no lemoms but my Avacado after a very long stemmed start is showing quite well and forming new leaves . I hope you get the weather that suits in Greece ,have an ouzo for me .

Morning all on this sunny day ,not my disposition I am afraid after the fiasco yesterday .I hope all are well and had a good kip . We have a plant in the garden that has failed to flower if I remember it is a Peruvian lily ,if I use plantnet it says it is a birch ! Anyway it has survived the winter here twice so it is hardy but I think it doesn't have enough daytime to flower so I am bringing it in for the winter hoping to kick start the season .The point is today I am painting a plantpot in Peruvian style ,we do like a bit of colour .
Have a great day all COYB
Is it a joke that Paddy power have paid out on us being relegated ? (Daily Mail) .
There has to be a line soon for Sean ,Kevin has to grow a pair ,saying that Textor seems to like the Palace manager so we might have to wait .
My Manure supporting SIL, sent me that link. I pointed out we are still only three points behind them and they also lost to mighty Brighton. He didn’t reply.

I’ve not seen a single bee nor wasp this summer…

Nothing to be disheartened about T, it was fully expected. Mind you I may have let it slip when a Derby County fan tried to wind me up by asking the score and I said anyone talking football in the pub is barred, obviously in a joking manner….

Good to see you back, try and have a nice relaxing bank holiday….

Really good to hear from you T. Keep plodding on mate.

Yeah there was one bit early on when he shouted out are there any Irish here which got a few cheers. Then he asked if there were any English in response to which there were resounding boos from the whole crowd (most of whom would be English of course). And he said stop that. We like the English people, just not their government. So yeah, anti establishment which is pretty much Gen Z to the core. Hence the huge support from them for Palestine. TLDP have themselves done 2 charity gigs for Palestine this year and I'm sure other bands have too.,

Didn't see the moshpit bit as I only watched about the first 20 minutes before getting bored.

Big hometown gig for them at Christmas which I believe will be their biggest to date. Could be wrong though. What makes Christmas more than a family singalong to ‘Get your Brits out’ 😀

Oh it will be, as a headliner. The SSE is huge for them. Surprised they aren't doing Dublin. Why is that do you think. Liverpool too given the massive Catholic base there.

Edit. They are doing Dublin. Just wasn't on the website I looked at.
