Is he more resented than Nyarko? Not sure if this forum existed back then but I'm curious nonetheless.

With Nyarko it wasnt the lack of ability it was the lack of effort.

With Keane he does his best. Hes just such a limited player and should have been sold long ago. What is annoying, frustrating and quite ridiculous is that he can only effect the game positively in both boxes.

Push the defence up and hes a liability so the fingers point at him...but its really Dyche to blame here. Coady/Tarkowski were solid before the world cup...

...now Coady has been taken out for a while whose to say he cant do better? Or Mina?

I agree with @GrandOldTeam about Branthwaite. But stay up and it could be that the loan is the making of him.

The fault lies with Dyche for playing him and the club for not learning how to sell players that should be moved on.

I dont dislike keane tbh. Purely the fact he looks like a sloth at times at the back and makes me very nervous watching. Exact same as Godfrey. No dislike. Other than the footy.

He should have blocked Leicester's first goal, got skinned by Vardy for their second. Gave away a penalty with a stupid handball and was skinned by Vardy a second time when Vardy hit the crossbar (and should have scored).

What bemuses me is some people saying Coady was dropped for being poor. Why is Keane exempt from the same then?
Is it purely Sean Dyche? Who knows.

I personally feel as tho our defence is less of an issue than our midfield and attack.

But you will struggle to find an Everton player that hasnt cost us points this season.

The majority of games over the last 3 years have been thrown by an Everton player.

We currently concede 3 a game, we’ve kept about 6 clean sheets all season, the defence is a huge glaring issue.

We’re conceding more goals because we have literally no goal threat though? We’re conceding more now because despite people wanting to paint dyche as the most negative manager ever he’s done what lampard didn’t and realised we need to find a way to score goals, so he’s pushing people forward, defending higher up the pitch, and we’re taking more risks. The defence certainly isn’t great but if the attack was half way functional it wouldn’t be this bad.

This.
People like to fixate on individuals and it won’t change anytime soon with this bunch of wastrels. You’ve even got some on here pining for the days when we didn’t score at all, didn’t create any chances whatsoever but conceded less.

Yeah, heady days when we only conceded 1 away at Newcastle but didn’t actually cross the half way line.

We’re also conceding more because Michael Keane is making a lot of mistakes.

With Dyche sticking by this clown is costing the club big time with both the players and the fans, the players will start to give up on Mon when he makes his stupid mistakes that is costing the team goals, we will be 3-0 down before halftime.
Before the match once the fans know he is in the team, it’s like being kicked in the Crown Jewels.

Please Mr stat man at least give us a fighting chance of staying up and drop your best mate

It must be dyche and keane's unfailing ability to get into the good books at the start of a managerial tenure. He's benefitted more than anyone from the constant managerial changes.

Anyway, yea, I'm sure like most here, I've watched every game this season and there is no way Coady performed worse or made as frequent mistakes as keane. No chance.

We all know Dyche will play him now because it's been questioned even if he was considering the switch beforehand. Just strikes me as that kind of person
