2024/25 Michael Keane

He's not the answer and everyone knows it. But id never begrudge him a little spell where he's having a good time. He's had enough bad ones so good luck to him.
The danger is when he struggles, and he will, is that dyche will now use a few games against lesser opposition as his long term solution.
100%. As long as his little spell doesn't result in a new contract.

I think the people clamouring for him to be played up front have to consider how fragile his confidence is. If he missed an easy chance (and he would) the crowd would crucify him. Can anybody honestly see the man having the strength of character to take the stick Dom gets when he misses?

Having said that, he does slot some crackers, so I am 100% Ok with him being pushed up front late in game.

Does this club love him ?
I think people get confused I will say that. When you say somebody isn’t particularly good at something it doesn’t mean people hate them. Granted some people do say the word hate but the majority certainly don’t. People love the club like he does and they want the best which is expected. Saying people hate him because of that is a little odd to me.

I don’t think Dyche is a particularly good manager but I don’t hate him, far from it, and I want him to win games because that’s in the clubs best interests.

I'm not sure anybody strikes the ball better than him at the club. In the opponents box, he is the first player you want the chance to fall too. Which is kind of sad when you think about it

Too big and too immobile even if he did play there in his younger years. I wonder why if he played there he dropped to CB? Yes a good striker of the ball, but you need movement etc to be up top. Don’t see that in him.
