Migrant Crisis

I am saying it's politically convient to Germany and it's politicians

As they see migration controls as a threat to their economy more than anything else.

It's easy for them to criticise as a result

Yeah, I know. And I'm saying that, regardless of said convenience, there's a more pressing issue at hand. Do you disagree?

I know someone already linked a petition but this is the parliamentary one: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/105991

Sign it and share it somewhere, Twitter or Facebook or wherever.

Really this is the sort of petition that should require anyone signing it to either guarantee housing a refugee family at their own expense, or giving a set amount of money to contribute towards the same end.

Or maybe pay tax, as I'm sure we all do.

Oh aye, but when my kids will be getting a much worse deal than I did from the state (in terms of no free higher education, worse schools, worse emergency services and a less efficient NHS) - despite me paying more than my parents - already, you will forgive me for suggesting that those who want to extend the hand of friendship should actually have to pay some of that themselves.
