Turns out I did jinx him, 1 out later he left the game through injury
I was able to catch yesterday’s Orioles/Padres game with my middle son. Fun day out. He was thrilled to have Gunnar sign a baseball for him. Also, for all the grief that Manny Machado gets, that dude spent way more time meeting with fans and signing autographs than anyone else.

Mariners end of season report?
Went to the Nats/Yankees last night. Beautiful night for baseball and good to see a bigger crowd at Nats Park (even if 65% were Yankees fans lol). Judge had an unreal catch in center field—putting together one of the all-time seasons.

Mets did an Everton last night. Can’t surrender a 4-0 lead in Philly. Hopefully we can take the series tonight. I didn’t think the playoff were possible this year, but if we miss out right at the end it’ll be a proper gut punch for confidence going into next year.
Doesn’t help that the Braves have won 2 against the Dodgers. We have to keep going though as the Padres have to play the Dodgers and Diamondbacks, that’s who we should be looking to leapfrog in the wildcard race.

It’s been such a fun ride this year. Vientos looks like a legitimate star. Plenty of baseball left to go. Think it’s all going to come down to the series with the Braves

Glad to see baseball on the beeb tonight. I used to love it on Channel 5 back in the 90s.
Vientios has made 3rd base his own. Can’t see Baty having much of a career with the Mets. I think he’s still got enough stock to trade for a good arm, unless Alonso doesn’t sign and we coach Baty at 1st base.
