Definitely a memorable playoffs. Not sure we’ll ever see another playoff team go 11-0 on the road. Absolutely crazy.
As a Mets fan, I’m very happy to see deGrom get his chip. He deserves one.
Think there are only a couple managers who have won four championships. Seeing Bochy leave Sborz in to get the save I can see one of the reasons why he is so good and well-liked by his players.
Sborz was incredible throughout the playoffs, only fitting he should record the last out.

The Rangers going from 1-0 to 5-0 up in the last inning helped a lot. If it was still 1-0, Bochy would have had a dilemma because Leclerc had pitched the last two days.
Rangers still World Series champs, even today. I've had the pleasure of watching a few of my teams win it and this was different. Maybe I was younger and more bullish (although the 09 Saints had that swagger) on some of those teams, and maybe it was the trauma from the 11 WS, or maybe it was just the fact that baseball is so hard to watch after Bally bought and ruined Fox Sports, but every night this postseason was a wild ride and I really didn't expect much out of it.

Point of order: Sinclair bought and ruined Fox Sports just like they're doing with local stations. They just slapped Bally's name on it, like some kind of failure laundering.
is there some kind of endgame here, or are some people/institutions simply bad with money/decisions? is this an Elon Musk Vulcan chess sort of thing (not sure what that is, read it somewhere) or is this an Elon Musk is a dweeb with money who should never have bought Twitter sort of thing?
