Blue Jays in the playoffs for the first time since 1993 and the first two games of the ALDS at sociable times for us Brits (although the locals aren't best pleased!) Love it!

They're in a tough spot. Toughest division in baseball. Must have some nostalgia for the AL Central. Does Uecker still call the games?

Yeah, not all of them, but he'll still call some.

Even if we were in an easier division, we're still gonna be crap for a long time. There's just nothing in the farm system and a realistic payroll cap of $90 million/year. No easy fixes.

Some OK trades this year, but we should've blown up the team years ago. Instead, we've been band-aiding things since the division title in 2011 and now we're gonna pay for it.

That's the problem. Do you wish it had been Brewers moving (back) to AL over the Astros? They seem to have done very well (but again, they've got a deep farm system.)

0145 start for our game against the Dodgers on Saturday morning for us! New Yorkers are going mad, think of me! I've got no chance! In work at 8am on Sunday morning, so that means even less chance of watching!!

As for the Mets, losing Uribe, I'll be gutted if he missed. Niuwenhuis, is a safe bat, but Uribe can always come up with a Clutch hit.

Kershaw Vs. DeGrom
Greinke vs. Harvey, that'll be interesting!

I like the NL game more, personally, so I'm okay with us staying there.

In retrospect the Brewers should have never been moved to begin with, because the 'Stros still have to deal with some ridiculous intradivison travel (Houston to Seattle? lolololol) but hey, whatever, I'm fine with things as they are now.

And on the note of the Astros, they were REALLY, REALLY BAD for years while building up that system they have. But hey, now they're pretty good, and will be contenders for a while now. They paid their price of not being the Dodgers/Yankees/Red Sox/Phillies, and now we get to pay ours.

Besides the playoffs AL baseball is unwatchable. A bunch of fat blokes who can't make it 1st without busting a coronary artery.
