Hopefully, I just can’t see how anyone can be so decisive on a players quality after such a short sample size. I doubt Aiden Mcgedy was given such a rough ride.
That’s it in a nutshell. The club - and many on here - were all too happy to jump on the hype train and make out that this was an absolutely miraculous signing. If you do that you can’t complain when people get a bit edgy when he’s had no impact at all 4 months into the season.
He’s young and inexperienced, and in hindsight even when I thought I wasn’t getting carried away (thinking he could get 10 goals and just be a real menace) I probably was.
He’ll get all the time in the world from me, but I do think we set him up for a bit of fall.
Unless marcel brands has done a reverse jacko since I last saw him, you only have to look at daves posts in there to disprove your theory.
