2019/20 Moise Kean

Give the lad a break. New to the country still learning. I gave him a bit of stick after the Watford game. Said he didn't do much and made it easy for the Watford full back and deserved to be subbed.
There was one moment which I hav had a look at again. Richarlisob broke away had iwobi in support in the box and Kean really motored to get in the box and in space. Unfortunately Rico put the pass behind the both of them but a pass to Kean unmarked could have been his first goal.
Really surprised at the speed of Kean though left his marker trailing

Eh strongly disagree with this. The kid is 19 years old. Does he feel out of place at times? Sure. No one can disagree. But he has shown glimpses of what he can provide with a few runs, ball skills, and pace. Everton hasn't done a good job of getting any of our strikers involved. DCL bagged a few. Tosun has the nack for goal but lacks all of the intangibles. Richy looks the best in the middle only because he is the most gifted of our players. We dont have the quality like Juve has to put the attention on other players since we "play from the back". Lack of ball movement, threat on goal, and overall quality in the midfield at this moment all plays a part in why Kean looks so lost. Could he thrive if we play a fast pace, counterattacking football? Sure. Would he look more comfortable with another striker upfront with a DCL, hold up/target man while Kean brings the pace threat and get in behind attitude? Of course. Until we change that, he will continue to struggle until he gains the confidence. Don't knock Keans ability. Its alot more than being "Rubbish or Undisciplined"...
He's certainly undisciplined, that we know from Italy and now here. If you believe in his talent, then the reasons you stress for it not coming out has to be laid at the door of the DoF. He buys the players, and if that player doesn't sit the manager's style, then that's down to Brands.

Forget Souness, Brands signed this lad. He's been rubbish and undisciplined. A huge outlay for him. Pathetic.

...Brands should be accountable for the signings under his regime, good and bad. Of all the players he’s brought in, Kean has been the big disappointment. Generally I’m encouraged by Brands signings, I think a good benchmark is to consider their current worth in the market.

i don’t think signing a 19 year old full Italian international for circa £25m is ‘pathetic’. Some transfers don’t work out, but even if Kean can’t turn things around I suspect we’ll get most or all of our monies back.

A bit of proportionality.

It was a calamitous decision to build our attacking hopes on a player with 11 goals in his whole career.

We cant afford 'bedding in for two seasons'.

...I’m sure the hope/intention was for him to have an immediate impact, I have no doubt about that. I offer no excuse for Brands (just as I offer no excuse for Kean), but I actually like most of what Brand’s is doing,

There’s no reasoning eggs mate his agenda is to rip the arse out of both kean and brands and that’s it. Brands has bought players that have improved us and we have been unfortunate not to be able to put them all on a pitch together for a prolonged period of time. This kid will come good just needs to settle in my opinion

“Calamitous”

Hahaha

You’re an absolute embarrassment to our fan base. It’d take a pretty convincing person to convince me there aren’t racial connotations behind your dislike for Kean. It’s quite evident you have an agenda against him. He’s played less than 500 minutes for the club, yet you’ve labelled him all sorts.

Absolutely uncalled for.

...I know that, Matey, i doubt @davek truly believe some of the stuff he posts, but he’s still one of us.
