If only he could - but the pressures of being a Premier League manager don't make it possible to guarantee anyone that kind of run. I don't disagree that he needs a run of games, but not gonna happen. The Chelsea situation is interesting - the transfer ban has forced their hand, and Lampard played two of their young guns, Mount and Tomori, for a full season in the Championship at Derby. There is also a core group coming through at the same time who have played together for years - a bit like the Man Utd kids at the beginning of their glory years - which I think helps. That is what I would love to happen with us - but ultimately they all have to be good enough and ready.
I know what you mean about pressure but, we have no other options and even tho some on here say fans are impatient with young players I don’t believe that’s the case. Everyone knows that he’s young and in a new country but watching our team struggle for goals with a new “ exiting” striker on the bench is more baffling to fans I think.would be a lot different if we were winning games and he had a successful system of formulae but we have been rank on the eye and with producing results. Like when lookman showed glimpses and set up a very goals and showed a bit of skill and beat a man. That again was an area that our team was lacking and bolasie was playing despite being dog muck, Walcott got 3 months of games while putting in cringe worthy performances and Vlasic didn’t even get a go in the same position. We literally played two terrible wingers for months while having two talented albeit inexperienced young players on the bench.
