Honestly disappointed in him. I thought the Juve talk was all cheap journo but he doesn’t want to fight for his place after just a season. Hopefully the next one we bring in is less raw and established enough to make an impact out of the gate. We can’t afford to keep goofing on deals like these.

From what I’ve heard from other sources that he is malcontent and wants to return to his boyhood club. It would make sense that Juve bid having prior knowledge of his situattion

Well that is a possibility coming to England at 19 and then having to deal with a pandemic while barely playing Football is a tough ask, I just don't see us selling him, The season starts on Sunday depending on what formation we use we might need all the foward players we can muster.

Or maybe he is fine in training but isn't playing because two of the three or four players who were worth a damn in our squad last year play the same position as him. DCL took his chance and fair play to him but that kept Kean's minutes in short supply. He didn't do half bad with those he got. These sell shouts are pretty poor, imo.

You could argue that. But you say DCL took his chance. Keane probably never did enough to get his chance. He scored 2 when he started a game. But he is very raw and rather than loan him I'd get are money back at least. But if he stays he has to do better in training and push for his spot. DCL did nothing in those covid games. Keane started one. Speaks volumes to me. But if he stays I hope he works hard get a game and starts scoring so he can't he left out of the team
