"Something not quite right about him".

Says the man pulled up by the Stevens Inquiry over illegal tranfer deals / caused a riot in Turkey / caused murder in the Old Firm derbies / brown-nosed the Royal family / took cash off the S*n / had his ugly 'kin grid reconstructed to look half-way human.

Yeah, "something not quite right....."

What does he know about managing?

Intended or not he got his first assist today and created our first goal, just by applying a little pressure on Coady.

He looked sharper against Lincoln and I'm not surprised he looked a little more sluggish today as he's building up the fitness required for this league.

Next 2 games, I think he'll get himself a couple and be up and running

So much about this game and the interpretation of it is about intuition; Kean seems to me to be a top striker waiting for a break/some confidence. Very possible I’m just hoping for that rather than truly believing it but I’m looking forward to his twelve goals in his last 20 games that sets him up for the golden boot next year...

Has anyone contacted the club about Graham Souness comments about Moise Kean today?

I think the club needs to make a stand about this and protect our player. The comments were bordering on being slanderous. Questioning a young kids character with out Foundation is reprehensible.

Storm in a teacup for me. Souness job is to stir the pot. I don’t particularly like the guy but the media will always employ pundits able to convincingly portray extremely positive or negative views either way. Fence sitters don’t bring viewers and don’t get any social media engagement, which is ultimately all they care about.

I don’t believe his comments were particularly insightful or succinct but I don’t think they were slanderous or racist in the slightest. In the same way people who compared Iwobi to Bolasie were labelled racist on here, some people just love to be offended.

His point, from what I could grasp (although he didn’t make it particularly well) appeared to be that he was surprised Juventus let go such an obvious young talent for cheap (even factoring in the contract situation), without a buy-back clause. And no top club with CL / EL Football was prepared to take a gamble. I think we were all fairly surprised to secure Kean and applauded Brands for the deal so that’s not necessarily a view many people would disagree with.

Souness alluding to the possibility that perhaps it wasn’t Kean’s talent on the pitch that had “put-off” potential buyers and that perhaps it was something about his personality or conduct off the pitch is the insinuation that seems to have riled everyone.

I could be wrong but I don’t think he used the word “unprofessional” at any point and I’m not sure he referred to “an attitude problem” at any point either. Had he done so, then I’d be equally annoyed, but it doesn’t appear that way to me.
