2020/21 Moise Kean

...based on watching him for us, I’m not even sure he’s a good finisher. He was ineffective for us, you would expect him to have basic back-to-goal technique and join-in play but I’m not sure he offered much to the team effort.

He’s certainly no Lineker.

...Linekers goals invariably finish inside the post (just like Ian Rush, Jimmy Greaves et al). He was bright as a button in the box, stealing in front of his markers to get on the end of crosses be it on the ground or in the air. When Lineker had a hint of a chance you were confident he’d score, that was never the case with Kean.

I guarantee CBs were scared stiff playing against Lineker. I guarantee CBs don’t lose sleep at the prospect of facing Kean. The one thing they have in common is wearing football kits.

Mate, check out his finishes for Juventus, Italy and now PSG...hes a natural finisher.

Kean on goal is pretty much lethal in every side and age group hes played in.

Apart from with us when we never used him in that way.

I'm hoping we manage to sell him in the summer. I think we should be looking to regain at least 20 million, but I hope we don't outprice him of a move by deluding ourselves into demands of 25 - 30 million +.

I think he's crap in the main. Like a worse version of Anichebe without the goals.

I dont even understand where this post has come from in your mind...

Why would we sell a player for less than we paid for him when hes banging in goals for one of the richest teams in the world?

If Kean is worse version of Anichebe then how would he even be at PSG in the first place? Or gotten through Juventus youth into the italian national team?

Reminds me alot of Vlasic this...played (rarely) out of position and shows flashes of talent before being loaned out. Only difference is that Kean is showing his talent on the world stage immediately while Vlasic was in eastern europe.

Also, not a hard one to get head around this.

Because of his goals in the farmer's league, he'll be worth around £35m-ish minimum now to a lot of clubs.

But he's not worth that to Everton. He doesn't want to be here, we don't want him, he'll move on. Sooner the better.

By all means, I hope we get as much as we can for him. I just don’t think there’s going to be a queue of clubs lining up offering 40 million.

I’ve made my point clear, and it is SELL HIM, don’t price him out of a move so he ends up sitting on our bench once again. If we got our money back, which was 25 million I believe, I’d be very happy.

Their fans seem to really want him at all costs.

PSG have been stuttering along and Kean is the one who has scored the goals while others have been injured.

I think the fee will be £60mil ish but i do think we should try and do a swap with them for a player...not Gana.

I think they will be desperate to keep him...

Mbappe 13 goals
Neymar 9 goals
Kean 8 goals
Icardi 2 goals

If Kean ends up hitting 20 goals and with PSG really being a plaything of the owners I think they will really want to keep him.

Luckily for us, we hold the cards.

I would imagine their players are on silly wages. I'd bite there hands off for £60 mil.

2 in over 30 games here in the league. Less than Stuart Barlow, more akin to Brett Angell.

Some players don't suit this league. He looks every inch like one of them.
I agree partly, I don't think he's ready for rough fast paced league just yet and how there's big grocks playing at CB who will certainly leave a mark on you, I still think he is someone who will turn into a very good player just not with us, The timing is all wrong and DCL is miles ahead of him currently.

Kean would be amazed and proud to know he is a major topic of conversation on a leading fans forum. When you think his contribution has been close to zero for us that is.

Very possible, but as an Evertonian I'm not arsed as long as we get money for him.

It's the "he needs to come back" crowd that I'm disagreeing with; he really doesn't.

Good luck at PSG for hopefully £50m - if he turns into a £150m player, good for him; but he was never going to be a £150m player for us.
