The only regret would be if he turns out to be a superstar and we settled for a profit of 4m or whatever it is that the reported offer would yield.
This is the fear isn't it although this fanbase does tend to do this for every youngster in Everton but I do feel it has a higher chance of happening with Kean. He's not ready for this league currently he's not a battler like Dom it's a shame cause I think he's a mega talent.

Psg in negotiations to buy for 31m apparently. Would tell them to swivel, if he was a PSG player and someone came in for him having scored 9 goals at 16 at that age they'd be demanding double that. Shouldn't be bending over for any team. A young striker who scored goal is gold dust.
Which is why we should bring him back next season. Young. Strong and knows where the net is.

But part of the modern breed of sulky.

Clubs can't just control players they pay fortunes to anymore. Its a sulkers market.
True looks sulky. But supposedly a fairly good professional at training. I look at it that we possible have one of the best young finishers in europe. ( not touch by the way) and why would we not do everything to see if it works. Like give it a year after psg. We are not a club in a position who will attract a potential like this again for a long time. Sulky or not.

If we are willing to let him go, I think £31m is decent business considering how poor he was last season and how little he offered. It's a bit of profit (we wouldn't have paid £27m upfront and while PSG wont pay £31m upfront, their intiail fee will be higher) and it's a big sum back for a player who has disappointed us. I'm not convinced on him personally and if this £31m can give us a player who can contribute NOW for us, then I'd take it. He showed for long periods last season he wasn't happy either at us or in England, and sulked.

I can see why people see talent in him, I'm just not convinced he'll make it at the top so if we did get a solid offer of £30-35m I'd take it for sure. I get the whole "It's PSG lets raise the price argument" too, but they know we've had a poor outlet from him and can use that, as well as we appear to be dealing with them now with Kean Gana so maybe keeping a positive relationship between the clubs is a good thing for the near/medium future. They may sign someone who is good, doesnt work out there but could be good for us.

PSG are trying to sign him. He previously played at juve? Out of interest “not making at top” - where do you see the top?
30m for a young player with his background and now a proven goal scorer. Martial was 36m + with less goals in France, lacazette at arsenal was 50m +. This is the baseline

In fairness, Kean does not want to be here, big mistake to keep an unhappy player, get a good offer let him go.
100% this. Never looked happy from the start, even after we brought in Carlo who speaks his native language, still looked like a spoiled teenager. I'll be made up if we can make a profit on him.

Sell him for whatever it is (31m), but make sure we lump a 25% sell on onto it.

So we make a profit, then if he does become a worldie we make money on that, without the bs that happens every international break hanging like a noose round our necks

Not so long ago I was thinking no one would take him off our hands and we were bound to make a significant loss. If its true he wants out, and we can make a profit then we've done ok.
