I’ve never said it would be good business? I think you’re confused about the point being made. I’m not saying he’s rubbish or anything, I’m saying the fact that his Everton career has been a failure and the fact that he is highly likely to want to move are extremely relevant when working out his transfer value. Do I think he may one day be sold for £50m+? Yes. Do I think Everton are in a position to demand that much now? No. You’re saying we hold all the cards, I’m telling you we don’t. Thats not how markets work.

As we own his contract, we hold the cards, we decide how much he goes for. I think we will sell for what we feel is acceptable and not what psg try and get away with.

If we aren't happy with what they are offering he will come back.

From what ive seen of him on the pitch and on social, he's a billy big balls that will only be happy playing for top top teams.
He came through as a prodigy at Juve, an Italy international at a young age.. to then be on the bench at Everton (the epitome of midtable averageness). We weren't/aren't where he believes he should be and the rat Riola knows he will be getting two paydays out of him in a short period of time.
I honestly believe we are being used in all this and dont think we are the ones holding the cards.
Raiola will tell Marcel to take the 30m and say please and thank you for it.

Thing is contract or not the players hold the cards.

If they want him and he wants to stay you don't think they'll tap him up,and if he doesn't get his move he'll miraculously lose half a yard of pace. Players can play the contract game both ends Bolasie,Ozil to name just two.
How are they the same though mate?

Bolasie was a truly woeful footballer and nobody wanted him and arsenal just didn't want ozil

That's what I'm saying, players have total control,if they want out they can play the old soldier,if they want to sit it out they can do that too.

Someone said earlier we hold all the cards in relation to where and when he goes. Too true. We hold his P45, his bank account details and he stays as long as he likes, which might be right to the end of his contract whenever that is. We might be stuck with him, or as an everlasting loaned player.

Two different things though mate, in a situation like bolasie and ozil they do have the power as ultimately the decision to leave comes down to the player, us and Kean comes down to us as ultimately the decision yo accept the bid falls to us as a club.

Sell moise kean one of the best young potential goalscorers in europe and use the money to pay the wages of 33 year old injury prone sami.

Everton that.
