The Guardian published an article in the summer about the 'Premier League Premium' that gets applied to players because everyone inside and outside the league knows we have stupid money from the tv deals. Overseas clubs resent it and pull our pants down.
Or, as some one else said earlier, prem clubs get rinsed.

Don't know how other people didn't realise this. Bayern are not trying to build a team to compete they have already spent there money over many years and can now step off the transfer merry go round

Yes we’ve spent a lot but why do the media consider it a source of embarrassment when a team outside their favoured ones spend money? We’ll prob finish 7th or 8th, a position Liverpool Spurs United and Chelsea (who were 10th) have finished loads of times with their mega squads. It’s only hilarious when Everton do it though isn’t it.

Aside from that, it shows there is money to spend at Everton, one thing that will go in our favor when we want to attract a new manager, just a shame whoever wants to spend it will have to work with Walsh

Who is the other one?
This is the result of buying half decent players assuming they will turn into world class talent once the sign for us.
Non of them can carry the team on their own, relying on others to make them great and we keep signing players that is relying on others and we end up with a squad of players so incapable of making an impact.
Siggy, need runner around him
Tosun, need people to feed
Klaasen, need energy beside him
Rooney, same as Klaasen
Schneiderlin, enough said
Niasse, need a good striking partner
Dcl, same as Niasse
We need high impact players that could make a difference on his own.
Players like Salah, de bryune. I know they probably cost hundreds of millions but this is the direction we need to go if we are going build a great team. Or at least identify them when their young and cost cheaper.
