How could we have got him at the price you've decided is his true value when someone else had bid more than that price?

..although Davies already looks like he's got more to his game. He really looks to utilise space behind his opponent and that little one-two he played to burst in the box was encouraging. Be interesting to see how Davies develops.

That's the very issue: it isn't what it takes. No clubs are paying those fees for players like that other than Everton. Bo,aside especially was breathtaking in its stupidity.

You've posted that Schneiderlin is worth max £17/18m - we paid £20m in what is naturally a window which has inflated prices.

Even though I disagree that we overpaid for Morgan - you seem to be disagreeing with yourself here .

The figure is £24m apparently, although I've seen quotes it was more.

..you know I've wondered if he might have more to his game. A few seasons ago he ran onto a ball at pace and moved it first time with the outside of his foot into Lukaku who scored. It demonstrated another dimension but it's something you rarely see so I doubt that's part of his game and I don't blame coaches if he's not displaying that aspect.

End of story really, and the fact you are now desperate to massage down the fee paid for Schneiderlin suggest you know Koeman paid way too much.
