Hibbert -- Distin -- Neville -- Osman

That 'could' mean a Fellaini / Baines sale next summer which brings in cash to replace them with.

I'd rather Moyes planned ahead for once and made a couple MORE sales if thats the only way to bring the squad age down and enable us to grow.

We're not going to grow into a top side by keeping hold of older players until their values diminish.

4 centre backs now -- Distin out is not replaced by Duffy -- it just means we have 3 centre backs.

3 Right backs now -- Hibbert and Neville out means 1 right back

Osman for Naismith, I thought it was Cahill for Naismith...

Every team needs 3 centre backs fit for the season, minimum what happens if one gets injured for a period or sent off....then a 3rd choice steps in....whose on the bench then? So 4 centre backs.

3 right backs of which none are top standard and 2 will soon be retiring or on the slide....

As for replacing them, replacing them how ? selling more players .....


Pienaar and Osman are now our only 2 creative midfielders....not exactly spring chickens.

If we follow this current model of buying players from the sale of old players then SURELY the old players MUST be sold off (obviously this cant be done now with Distin/Neville/Hibbert/Osman) and their transfer values must be maximised.

If we wait until NEXT season then it's fairly obvious Distin will be on his last legs and Neville will be even worse. I also do not see how Pienaar or Osman have 3 seasons left in them.....as first eleven players in a top 6 side.

Then what next, the same cycle continues with Heitinga and Jagielka......and which superstar will be sold to cover for their sales?

We are keeping players past their sell by date and replacing them with....whom ?

Lets see what happens but I think there will be an absolute revolt unless Moyes does something about this.

We havent even prepared properly for LAST Season.

I'm pretty sure a one year contract is a hint towards retirement.
