Neither mate, nobody has actually given me genuine reasons as to why either would be a bad appointment, they both have ability and have never been fully backed financially by the clubs they've been at so have never amassed a squad with the quality ours has. I think with the quality we have both managers would flourish and we'd see a marked improvement in league position and more importantly trophy cabinet.

They are both dinosaurs

He spent more than a fair whack at Sunderland, and they are still picking up the pieces.

Go on a Sunderland message board and tell them that you think swapping Moyes for Bruce is worthy of consideration, and see what type of reaction you get.

I don't need to go on a Sunderland message board to know that he wasn't given a fair chance once he'd signed those players.

If you're to short sighted to see that it could be an opportunity for us to move forward then that's fine mate.

It is fine, as is your poor effort of a wind up.

No two ways it never wen't perfect there for him, BUT, he had a lot of Keane's crap to get rid of and a lot of the lads he brought in are still there playing well or have been sold for big profits.

I think they're attitudes towards him will have softened as times gone on. They were a good side on their day TBF.

I can only suggest that you actually go on to Sunderland's RTG forum and ask them. Hardly any of them rate Bruce highly, and a lot of them refer to the mess that Bruce left as a reason behind their current predicament.

Most of them now want rid of O'Neil, but they wouldn't have Bruce back if you paid them, and they would give their right arm for someone like Moyes.

They are also losing half a million pound a week, about 25million pound a year.

No need to assume that someone with a different opinion to yours is on a wind up, we just have different views on the way forward, I can accept that, I don't try to force my view on people, it's all about opinions mate and you're welcome to your own.

Fair enough. It does have the air of a wind up though, because the suggestion of swapping Moyes for Bruce is a preposterous one for most people.

I'm not suggesting we get rid of Moyes for Bruce, far from it, all I'm saying is that if Moyes leaves of his own free will when his contract is up then I'd take a look at him. I think it's a bit harsh for Sunderland to still be blaming him for the predicament they're in, they've had more than enough time to come to terms with any mess that he supposedly left them in. Martin O'Neil has done his usual and raised expectations only to then go on and fail miserably after early promise, they're as bitter as kopites.

Bungle are you on a fishing trip? Bruce failed at Sunderland and no disrespect to Sunderland I'd say were a bigger team and we already have one United reject we don't want a team... unless it's Nani or Berbatov.
