Are you telling us Moyes is such a bad manager that one of the worlds biggest clubs is wrong to give him a 6 year deal ?
Yeah right !

BU just posted this
Bill Kenwright has stated he will "listen to the fans" when deciding the next Everton manager.
Have your say. Vote in our poll who you would like to see in the Goodison hot seat:

Like I said, if the pick is against the majroity of fans feelings.. The kenwright haters will start calling him a liar, corrupt etc..
Who cares? The BU don't represent the fans.

what kind of job did Martinez do for Swansea? plus ive read that Martinez net spend for wigan is -14 million, if that the case no wonder Martinez couldn't keep them up.

He did a good job at Swansea but that was 4 years ago. Some people have come up with crap stating Swansea are only where they are now because of him, Martinez didn't get them promoted to the premier league, and on a similar budget to his own they're in the top half and Wigan are relegated!

Is this true?

12 wins from 19 - our best home record in eleven years

If we beat Chelsea, it will be our most points in a PL season.

We have won (even without draws) more points this season at home than Wigan have managed home and away and with wins and draws.

We weren't going backwards at all. It's a nonsense to even suggest it.

There is absolutely no way Martinez will beat Moyes' total this season if ever he gets the job.

There are plenty of clubs all over the world who work on a budget of Wigan but don't register a -42 goal difference. 35 points from 37 games. A less than 25% win rate. He goes on about defensive injuries - were they every year for the four seasons he had in the PL? They had defensive problems, why spend £6.5m on Boselli? lescott, jagielka, distin - all bought for cheaper. Fulham found hangelaand, there were plenty of deals available.

I cannot understand they hype surroundingMartinez. 150 premier league games and he has performed worse than Jewell and Bruce and taken his team down.

Oh FFS. He's had much less money to spend than Jewell and Bruce.

Martinez's Wigan have a sh*te defence cause Martinez has brought in sh*te defenders. There is very little left in that Wigan team where he can now say it isn't his player. Yes he can attack, but it dont mean a thing when your getting battered every week. Theyve been relegated cause they are the third worst team in the league.

There is only one team in Liverpool I would like to see Martinez at, and it ain't Everton, Cammell Lairds, or Marine.

I'd go for the Interim One. He's probably the only manager who would not change the back room staff and fck the whole place up.......

And the fact that he likes to play three at the back might have something to do with it aswell.

And what money he has had, he has spent so badly they have got relegated.

Absolutely ridiculous to suggest Martinez is a good manager - 150 league games and relegated, every season with a goal difference into double figures (-42 GD and 35 points from 37 games)

People say "oh he had to sell x,y,z player" but before he sold them, he used them.... And his teams were still garbage.

How would his appointment be progress for a top 6 club? It wouldn't be. Not by a long stretch of the imagination.

So he must be a complete idiot then, to keep playing with three at the back and concede balloons full of goals.

Amongst others Brian Clough , arsene wenger , Rafael Benitez & joe royle have all been relegated however tony pullis never has . I presume cv wise that his is therefore the most impressive ?

Isnt his net spend something like -14 million tho.

100 % right.

Arguably, after five seasons he now has nothing less of Jewell and Bruce at the club, so he has truly stamped his mark on the club.... Oh look, they got relegated when that happened
