I was thinking fer myself, as I think McCarthy may be a tad expensive. It osman could cover pienaar position aswell, as it's not reliant on pace. And maybe some cover with pace on the right maybe Sinclair on loan with option to buy?

Ive heard Fer is going to Man u

It has to be Laudrup, Martinez or Peirera. The other managers we are linked with are all crap or defensive minded like Moyes.

This is the problem with the whole debate mate isn't it it's incredibly subjective . Eddie Howe to the premier league would be clearly a huge risk , his brief career at Burnley wasn't exactly stellar and people talk about risk that would , as I'm sure you know be just off the chart risky . If you consider Eddie Howe a genuine and realistic target for everton then I'd imagine your short list is very lengthy . I think he looks and 'ok' manager but I'm not sure I'd touch him personally for a premier league team .

I don't know as much as many other posters seem to about pereira and he certainly has some ticks in the positive column but again there are plenty of managers who've come to the premier league from overseas and struggled badly. It is a different league over here and I think that's what worries managers , Portugal also isn't the most competitive in Europe is it ?

I think the job of appointing a manager is a far from easy one though and given the risks involved I hope that those involved are thinking long and hard about it
.

Kenwright doesn't want the demands that come with being ambitious.

A less important problem, but does anyone know if they're gonna keep the 'In Moyes we trust' on the Gwladys st end for next season or replace it? Just be interesting to know

Been replaced with " Cheer up Peter Reid "

Make of that what you will, but a steward told me that he heard a conversation inside Goodison halls of " Yes Bill, bring a blue home, the fans will love you again "

The above is a bluff.

But the above could be a double bluff?? what are the odds on Reid???

Martinez is basically finishing in the league 17/18th which is about right for the amount they spend on wages.

If he was to manage Everton we would probably drop down to 10/11th, we need to aim higher whilst we look like an attractive club to manage.
