Moyes to Sunderland

I reckon their manager is the worst in the league.
You seriously think Moyes is the worst manager in the league? Your just letting your bizarre and irrational hated blind you to reality. He'll never get near the standard he was for us (clearly his peak) but he definitely can contribute something to the right club in the right circumstances. He's still better then El Fraudo anyway.

His last 3 jobs suggest otherwise.

His last three jobs suggest he's the worst manager in the league? Behave. He was doomed from the start with the Man Utd job, and judging the amazing success of both the men who followed him there he wasn't doing that horrendous a job after all was he? The Spanish club was obviously a disaster waiting to happen for both him and the club but I think that was just a bad decision by everyone involved for him to go there. We are yet to see how well he does at Sunderland but let's be honest here, they've been terrible for years and have a vipers nest of players who have seen loads of manager's sacked while they got off scott free. They are the problem not all these different manager's. I believe Moyes will do well there given time and backing. One thing is certain, you don't become a bad manager overnight and his few bad year's since he left us doesn't negate all the good years he had here.

Despite what happened with Moyes, i wish him no ill feeling really. Did a lot for us until it was clear he hit a ceiling of capability.

Exactly. I hate Kenwright far more than I do Moyes. One set us up from the mire of the 90's the other done his best to keep us in it.

I tell you what, it just shows how assiduously Moyes developed his media contacts over his time at Everton when there's almost no chatter about how he should be sacked given his disastrous appointment at Sunderland. FFS he should be getting hounded out. They are rock bottom and almost surely gone to the Championship but the old boys network ginger has built up are still giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Sunderland supporters need to be getting demos together to kick this divvy out or they have zero chance left.
He's given up and he's already planting the 'best we can do' seeds, his MO really.

I can't understand why Sunderland haven't binned him yet. The only chance they have to stay up is to get a manager in who knows what hes doing and has the players respect.

Like what?

He is yesterdays man. A totally busted flush.

Whatever currency Everton gave him is almost spent, but he's still trading off his top ten miracles

He has a hold on the media. Any other manager would have been hounded out by now. I am surprised by the Sunderland supporters though. They are muted on this when in the past they've been vociferous. I can only think they are sick of protesting and are now accepting the fact that Moyes is the man destined to take them down.

Think thats about right mate. But I reckon the blame that most Sland supporters will lay the blame at will be the owner. Rightly or wrongly.

Short sealed the club's fate bringing in Moyes. Moyes is now an arl arse: more an operator in spin and PR management on behalf of himself than the manager we had here who could motivate a bit of resistance and buy a player.

Moyes is heading back to the Championship...if he's lucky.

Well seeing he bought most of our dead wood, hard to disagree that his midas touch seems to have deserted him!

I actually think he has them playing ok, but thats sort of a minimum requirement I guess. And there are not 3 teams worse than them, so curtains me thinks.

I think they appreciate how much his hands are tied mate to be honest. Short wants rid and gave him nothing to work with in the transfer window other than scraps. I'm not a fan of Moyes but he is doing the 'best' with what he has got. Pickford is a good young keeper but its his first season and Kone seems to have a few good games a season in him. I have a sneaky feeling he will keep them up by hook or by crook and then see where they/he is after Short sells them or provides some funds.
