I dont you can do a leveraged buyout on anything other than a full buyout, or at least a majority stake. My understanding is that their 'bid' to buy Spurs would involve a massive leveraged buyout, they don't have 3.5 billion pounds worth of change in their pockets. Whereas the proposed purchase of 25% of Everton for circa 100 million would not involve leveraged funding.
Could be them getting the spurs story to the media to help put pressure on moshiri. Hopefully a deal can be done so atleast we can get change at the club, if is on 25% i just hope that this still means this can be the change we needAccording the esk and john blain this isn’t true. Not saying they know everything
, but they seem to have a few connections. And the bobble said last week this could be done This week
In what capacity though? Rather they buy us then invest, invest changes nothing as far as the running of the club goes, it will still be the same people. They will invest here in my opinion.

He cant insist, its nothing to do with him what Moshiri does with his sharesSomeone is probably insisting he stays as chairman. Wolves in the 80's? Everton: Hold my beer.
But this is why i hope they buy, board presence, which in our case will see the total removal of our current board and we start again, but i fear Monshiri dosent want to lose his controlTheir investing history, shows a strong priority of having a board presence and involvement in the executive decision making of the club mate, i believe if the investment comes off, they want two board seats. I dont see the current board all being there or at least in its current guise by the time next season starts to be honest, be early summer when that happens IMO.
Often investment like this can lead to a full buy out - Moshiri started as a minority stakeholder, but they are the wrong buyers - if they tried to buy us outright at the moment, with the level of risk in the business - be stupid to buy us now. Also Moshiri would be stupid to sell wholly if he's ever going to see any return on the scale of his investment, investment and a minority stake protects everyone (for now).
Agreed - BK could have insisted when Moshiri initially bought 49% but I don’t see how he can in a transaction between Moshiri and another investor. He cant insist, its nothing to do with him what Moshiri does with his shares
He cant, he hasnt been able to insist on anything for years nowAgreed - BK could have insisted when Moshiri initially bought 49% but I don’t see how he can in a transaction between Moshiri and another investor.
Yet. He's not selling completely until the stadium is built in order to minimise his losses. But this is why i hope they buy, board presence, which in our case will see the total removal of our current board and we start again, but i fear Monshiri dosent want to lose his control
No it wont, how will it, seats on the board mean nothing if you are not in control, we need a new board, not just two more faces addedYet. He's not selling completely until the stadium is built in order to minimise his losses.
In the meantime if MSP buy 25% they will have seats on the board which should spell the end of your beloved's influence for good.
We have a chairman at the moment who owns 1.3% yet remains in charge of the club. Shouldn't be a problem for an investor who owns 25%.You say its an invetsment in Everton, but Moshiri owns it, so you are investing in him, and trusting his ability to run a club, which as we have seen is terrible.
Also a minor stake hold is the problem, it means little, you have no say in anything and are stuck in the background, who is going to do that ?
If you own 1.3% you are not in charge, its easy to remain in charge though if Moshiri wants you to stay in charge, which he seems too.We have a chairman at the moment who owns 1.3% yet remains in charge of the club. Shouldn't be a problem for an investor who owns 25%.
It's easily done if you are a slippery enough customer like your Bill.
