Well I suppose if someone were to offer 5 billion they might snap their hands off, but still there is utd and the RS for sale for roughly a similar value that would presumably attract investors more if Spurs want silly amounts.

I think Levy and Lewis might be holding off for the super league. They know they will get more then and if you don't have to sell it puts you in the driving seat.
 

For what its worth.. Esk on Twitter tweeted shortly after the reports came out that he still believes that the Everton investment is something that they definitely want to pursue. Guess we'll see..
 
If MSP are looking at both us and Spurs, it wouldn't make you think they have any clear strategy, for that reason alone, I'm skeptical of the Spurs reports.

Everton can be purchased outright for a minimal outlay compared to Spurs, but require significant further investment and work.

Spurs are the opposite with a value quoted in the billions. Capital that MSP of themselves, do not have.

The prospect of a European Super League does make Spurs attractive, but that depends highly on a closed-shop franchise competition with no promotion/relegation, and thats unlilkely imo. Otherwise their value is pushed up by real estate.

The Spurs thing is all to do with their stadium and the fact it's not just football, it's getting use for NFL and boxing. I read a thing yesterday that said over time the value of it almost outweighs the club hence why IF the club was for sale (it's not) they would want at least £1 billion more than the offer that has been banded about.

It is funny hoe the Esk has gone back to being worthy of listening to.
No one wanted to believe what he was saying initially as it was bad news, seems a lot of it was right
