What it would do is guarantee us an upward trajectory for years to come and the chance to dine back at the top of the table with the elite.

You would have top brass put in the boardroom, massive doped sponsers to avert FFP, money to back and attract good level managers/players and probably the area around BMD would be developed into big real estate/hospitality and an EFC hub created similiar to plans around the Etihad & SJP.

So why wouldn't you want someone able to pave the way for Everton to be "the" Merseyside club in the CL most seasons / fighting for the title ?

Say MSP get a shirt sponser thats £2mil per season more than our current deal and a better deal than fanatics that works out say another £2m a season better off. Is that £4m increase in revenue going to do anything when clubs like Newcastle are raking in £30m+ off dodgy sponsers or clubs like Villa/Brighton making large profits off finishing in the top 6/7 ?

Some of our fans are living in cuckoo land where this group are going to hoodwink some US company into sponsoring us big money whilst we invest little of it back in transfers to finish midtable every season.

Or look at Leicester--promoted, won the league, won an FA Cup, out of the league in 8 years. In the current era PL you are more likely to see a team go from 12th to 2nd (Chelsea?) than maintain 6-7-8 for 3 consecutive years. Nevertheless, Kenwright failed to properly support Moyes and Moshiri has flailed wildly at whatever he has been attempting to do. Let's hope the next ownership (a) comes soon and (b) sets a clear plan in place to capture the best result for Everton given the current league dynamics.
