I assume this means the interim period is not going to be just short term after all. Well I just did not see this coming

It feels as though a negative snowball is in motion, and that there’s no arresting it now as it hurtles down the hill. There’s just too many issues with the club, with seemingly no hope of removing the two main issues from the equation. I fear this only ends one way. Hell it might even be a relief after watching us scrap with relegation every year. I’d finally be able to give fantasy football the attention it deserves.
Of course.
But there is also an opportunity.
Moshiri will have to sell. The value of the club will have plummeted. As others have said no one is paying Moshiri £500 m and inheriting at least the same amount in debt.
Therefore if Moshiri is over a barrel Everton acquired for a reasonable price and perhaps represent decent value.
However whilst this is an opportunity to get rid of Moshiri and Kenwright you have to be concerned about what comes next.
Will it be asset strippers or an oil state who wants a status symbol?
I miss the days when being a football fan didn't mean you needed to be a financial expert.
All 3 scenarios are possible.3 situations really for me -
1) Sells at a massive loss to whoever wants to pay £500mill.
2) Bring in multiple investors and shrink his share.
3) Waits for the stadium to be built (pumps more money in), and banks everything on that
yep. ignorance was bliss. Those days when the only time you could hold the owners accountable is when they've finally fleeced and liquidated a club?
All 3 scenarios are possible.
Can't see anyone investigating without getting control.
I can only forsee a complete takeover. The big question is who and motivation.
Don't worry everyone the FAB are onto it.
The only positive that could come from this is if the fans call on Moshiri to sell the club outright, and we get a full takeover. Because we need a full takeover, not just a limited amount of investment.
Nothing improves until we have new ownership and a new chair
