This pretty much happen to me with k. Ended up taking it daily for nearly a year at uni, it was everywhere in Oxford in the mid 00. We were buying the liquid and cooking it

Got through the uni year etc fine, but then a mate got killed whilst driving after a day on it so we all just stopped

Yeah, similar here, I had a bit of a habit for a while at Uni, used to keep half a litre on the shelf. Tolerance to that stuff builds up ever so quickly. Abhorrent stuff.

aye, the law got really strict around early-to-mid-00's (probably still is). you deffo got lucky, cooll.

we on here somehow turned out fine...and i think generally the majority of users did. but seems many of us have sad stories too.

i reckon legalisation & social acceptance of the non-addictive psychedelics (incl. mushrooms) is a step in the right direction. if that ever comes we might again get culture created out of it, which overwrites the need for the addictive destructive crap.

USA report horrific total OD death figures of addictive drugs...over hundred-thousand deaths last year...many of these drugs are even legal and prescribed. Yet [illegal] mushrooms would appear to do not just a less harmful job, but a more effective one.

Oxford uni had (prob still has) a huge problem with it as it didn't come in their random drug tests at the time, i think that has changed now because of modafinil, ritalin and other 'exam drugs'. i still remember the first time i met a girl who is now my friend, she came to our flat, racked up a fat line the diagonal way on a CD case, did it in one and went to a lecture. mad looking back on it
