Naismith? Thoughts?

his feet are legs are made in the shape of 50p's the ball bounces off in all directions, he'd make a good radar deflector.

It's not often i get on a players back but this kid is woeful.

Puts in the effort, that's what we'd all do if we got a chance to play.

Nice lay offs in the box, should have had a couple of assists if Kone had been a little sharper.

His longer passing and his first touch are letting him down.

he's the worst player i've seen in an everton shirt since nyarko/angell

This. He's simply not good enough to grace a Premier League pitch. He is woeful.

Hate doesn't come into it. Just ask yourselves would he get playing time with anyone else in the top flight? it genuinely baffles me how he gets time with us.

When people say he had a good pre-season, did he actually? Or was it more that he looked fairly poor rather than absolutely woeful? The lad just isn't good enough. He has no pace, little strength, a poor first touch. I could go on.

Where I disagree with the haters though is getting on his back. If Martinez crazily thinks he is the option, it's not going to help getting on his back after every slip up. He's not the only one who makes mistakes and some of our fans are quick to moan when certain players mess up. The thing I like about him is that you can tell he is trying and is giving his all for the shirt. He just shouldn't be getting a game in my opinion.

How come Naismith gets slated till the cows come home, but people would actually want Straquacrapurqui back tomorrow given the chance and rave about his every sliced touch? They both give 100, try their hardest, yet don't garner the same support...

A real trier which makes it hard to criticise but the possession game requires an excellent first touch and accuracy of passing neither of which he has - gotta be ruthless here Bobby.

At least strac has size and strength, still grim like, but poor old Naismith doesn't even have that going for him

Turbo gash.

He'll be credited with an assist last night, purely because his first touch is so poor, his control on the thigh hit his need and rebounded 5 yards away, straight to Fellaini.

He seems like a nice enough lad but he's just not good enough.

5HITE. Almost in tears last night watching him just get in the way for 120 minutes. terrible touch. terrible movement. just terrible. Hes either about 2 stone overweight...or the kit man needs to give him the next size up. I thought his ar5e was gonna burst out of his shorts.

Hes a millionaire! Through football! It beggers beleif!

He did score against the ****e last year. When he takes shots before the match he looks awesome, when he shoots during the match he looks awful

I'm preparing for a backlash here but I thought Naismith was alright last night. He worked hard when he didn't have the ball, he was one of the few players who were always trying to go forward as opposed to sideways/backwards. And was happy to track back and help defend when needed.

Ok his first touch isn't amazing but I think he gets so much unwarranted stick.
