He is awful. Shouldn't be in the squad and definitely not in the starting 11! Bloody awful, sooner have Oviedo there any day! Heitinga useless again!

Bad knee injury mate.

How does being out of position make you suddenly become unable to trap or pass a football? It's not like a ****ing front rower playing first five is it?

He a striker or CF yet to see him play there....

He can trap and pass a football. Dont make me get pedantic lad and theres noway hes as bad as anyone has said in this thread and to question his work rate is ridiculous.

Hes worked that hard he looks like hes had one too many.

Get off his back ffs

I dont think he is good enough, but his confidence is so low, you can tell. He is struggling to even control the ball.

He can obviously do it, he is a 'pro baller'. :)

I'm not really on it, I think he'll be alright once he's up front, but I ain't having him up there ahead of Jelavic, Fellaini, Vic or Barkley, so it's not looking good for him.

Notice how Jelavic went out wide for setting up Vic's goal? Notice the trap and the ball control and the cross. Notice how Naismith didn't even come close to that? Now tell me it's because he's out of position. Please.

It's actually easier to control the ball out wide though, because you can see more of the game and you tend to have more space. In a central area he'd get crowded out and that lack of control would be highlighted even more.

His control tonight was amateur at best. He works hard but that's only cos he's so slow he has to work hard to make up any ground after he's lost the ball. He does have a good knack of getting on the end of things in the box but very often he tends to get in the way of other players when he's doing it. It's like he's playing his own game and has no real idea of where he should be. (I'd like to add challenging for the same ball seems to be quite common for Everton players at the minute, FFS someone shout!)
