Right, back on topic, Patterson needs defending lessons, yes?

Wrong!!! ?Fernandinho.
This is a complete misrepresentation. How can Coleman be a better prospect when patterson is twice the player technically.
Coleman got by on speed and hunger and desire. But he was bang average when it came to passing and crossing.
I have a feeling when patterson gets in some great position out wide, he won’t have a default mechanism off smashing it across the box and hope for the best, like Coleman
But I thought you said we were turd football, hoof merchant protagonists when this was all happening under Moyes? This is a complete misrepresentation.
Coleman was linking up and going by opponents and ending up into the opposition box to get shots off and pass to team mates very early in his Everton career. The fact that one player might do the same and look more elegant doing it is neither here nor there.
By the way, the season he broke into the Everton team in 2011/12 his cross accuracy was higher than Baines' (30% compared with 28%); season 2012/13 (it was 30% and 25% in Baines' favour); seaosn after that 2013/14 it was Coleman's 31% versus Baines' 17%.
It is best not to view Coleman's crossing ability threough the prism of the last few dire seasons for him in that respect, because he was more than a respectable crosser of the ball before that.
Ha Ha Ha.Wrong!!! ?
Where's this modicum of knowledge you claim to have? ?
...and how does my post contradict that? But I thought you said we were turd football, hoof merchant protagonists when this was all happening under Moyes?
Ha Ha Ha.
You know absolutely nothing about football. Go and read around the subject.
He started out as a youth team player as CB.Fernandinho interview: Learning to play centre-back and mentoring Manchester City's young stars

You were probably once a normal person before you turned into a weird troll!! (but I doubt it)He started out as a youth team player as CB.
Broderick the Bear from Bearsden haunting an Everton forum to plead for a player that rejected rangers to be played - how undignified can you possibly get?You were probably once a normal person before you turned into a weird troll!! (but I doubt it)

Lol.
?
So Div, are you saying Pep coached Fernandinho from a centre half at youth level into a midfielder??? ?
Coleman came back from Blackpool and after a few games at right mid (because moyes still didn’t trust him defensively) forced his way in ahead of Phil Neville who was past it and way past his best. Coleman wasn’t as good as Neville defensively but offered far more going forward and improved positionally and defensively over the next few seasons. He wasn’t the finished article when he forced his way into the team.Harry Kane was loaned out to a Championship club. Nothing wrong with that. The lad at Forest on loan, Spence, now chased by Arsenal and Bayern. D'you think he's too good for it and not them?
Ideally what we need is for him to go out and have his mistakes elsewhere and come back the better player.
Also: no way was Patterson a better prospect than Coleman at this stage. None whatsoever. He took Bale apart against Spurs before being loaned out to Blackpool.
This numbskull is clearly pissed off he was signed from rangers nothing more nothing less. Patterson can’t defend well sure as fook Coleman and Kenny can’t they are horrific
Your absolutely desperate for Patterson to never pull on the toffee shirt it’s ripping out of you. If he was signed from the green half of Glasgow you would be his no1 cheer leader utterly pathetic.
When Patterson gets his first EPL start he will be Everton’s MoM and you will still be a bitter bigot
