A young lad who has played about 16 full top flight games. He's not going to be Maldini.

Done well against good attackers. Can he improve? Of course he can but we have bigger issues than this lad
Yes but this issue adds to the bigger issues which overall makes us utter 💩 that’s our problem. Oh he’s young he will learn, yes he will at the expense of mistakes add to that the more senior players we have who are also making mistakes and aren’t good enough well you have a relegation side.
Was hoping he’d have a really good pre season but as soon as the opposition stepped up he hasn’t, hope he does well this season but can’t see it let’s hope I’m eating my words mid season.

I think he has been disappointing offensively, he has it in his locker to provide assists and get the odd goal. Hopefully it will ‘click’ for him this season. Perhaps once he provides an assist or gets a goal it’ll be good for his confidence.
I do think him and Garner looked good as a pairing down the right side. Hopefully if the play often together they can be a threat, they looked pretty solid against a decent team today.
Both of their final balls today were dire.

True, but they did look solid defensively and at times worked well together down the right.
To be fair they started to look a bit ragged near the end,but it's looking more and more like we need a RW who can cross a decent ball or it's pointless worrying about DCL being fit.

I think they both will come good in terms of crossing, deliveries into the box. I think the problem is linking the midfield and DCL. Instead of a 4/5/1 I think Dyche might have to play a 4/4/1/1 with McNeil, Danjuma or even try Maupay in there, he can’t lead the line and naturally drops deep anyway.

Sad to say we don't have the time for them to learn on the job.

I think they are both quality players, Garner is an England u21 Euro winner and Patterson is a full Scotland international, I think this season both will come good.
But can they perfect the cross into the box,if we were one of the top eight we'd have the time to find out.

Would consider playing Garner at rightback.

All hype this lad.
I thought at Stoke he looked solid enough, but that was poor again today.

Opponents running by him is a major concern. 18 months he's been down here and still we wait for real signs he's up to the task.

Garner at RB is a much better call than starting Patterson. Coleman cant get back quick enough for me. He's still the best RB we have at the club.
