I agree. In his defence imagine busting a lung to get to the byline, looking up and seeing that small French baguette, stale and motionless in there, and Iwobi sauntering in at the edge of the box.

When you operate at the speeds that Nathan does, passing players in a flash, speeding toward the goaline, his job is to whip into the box. It is our feeble attack that should learn that when the big lad does his thing, the ball will come in around the six yard box and they need to be in there and ready to capitalise. It is not a case of taking a corner and sticking arms up. Our forward line needs to learn how operate with a world class full back, and it is sickening that our attacking issues still persist!

Not really. If he deserves it he deserves it. Let's see if he earns the right to wear the number 2 shirt...in any case Seamus will always want the 23 number so it's all a bit moot really isn't it?

I just think he needs to show a bit more composure mate and get his head up.

Though I do agree the options in the box definitely make it a lot harder for him to find a blue shirt.

Shouldn't do Coleman was at Blackpool on loan at Patterson age now. The young lad now is on a good upward path.

I think he has been disappointing offensively, he has it in his locker to provide assists and get the odd goal. Hopefully it will ‘click’ for him this season. Perhaps once he provides an assist or gets a goal it’ll be good for his confidence.
I do think him and Garner looked good as a pairing down the right side. Hopefully if the play often together they can be a threat, they looked pretty solid against a decent team today.
