He's the only player who seems capable of passing the ball forward with any purpose.

Iwobi isn't a winger. We put him on the wing.
Garner isn't a winger. We put him on the wing.
Doucoure isn't an attacking mid/number 10, we put him there.
Maupay isn't a number 9.

The sooner we can put players in their preferred position, the better and no mistake Garner is a CM.
He's adaptable. He can do a few roles competently and one of them is CM. But I cant see yet a CM who's going to get on the ball and put a ball through like Onana did for Maupay yesterday - in fact, Onana showed how to pass forwardly with intent in that first half yesterday setting up Doucoure too.

We have a strong CM and we know that Garner can play as a right sided player. His best game for the club so far was as a right wing back against Bournemouth. The solution is there in that position at least.

How do you mean? In what way has he been our most creative midfielder? I've seen nothing to persuasde me that Garner can fulfil that role in CM.

He has a natural aptitude on the right side of the pitch in any position IMO.

This manager knows it too and I expect him to play him there otherwise he's not doing his job.
Our midfielders are Onana, Gueye, Doucoure, Garner.

He is the most creative of them by quite a long way.

“He should block that cross but he wasn’t at fault for the goal” so he was at fault then

I said: Can’t say the goal was his fault but he still should block that cross

The goal isn’t his fault because the two CB’s went walkabouts but he still should block the cross. I don’t really see what’s so hard to get about that or are you one of them dullard argumentative nuggets
