He’s often right about togger & sometimes it isn’t even to hide an opinion he also wants to sneak in there as if it’s a fact.
Doucoure is a big miss, we can go vaulting in his thread.
Sent off at Liverpool ...- Then trapped the ball on the line v Luton & kicked into the oncoming attacker - schoolboy football error - plus being continually being run past for crosses that cause goals ... the only good game he played was on the wing out of harms way ....
The fact he played in a few winning games does not mean his performance was anything, but poor ....

And yet even with his poor performances and the loss of 9 points this season lost due to his errors ( Your words ) we win 3 more times than when Young starts than Patterson.
Young starting at rightback for Everton has more points than what Patterson has for starting for Everton in League games at rightback.
Some are much more critical, even vicious of him because;
1. He come from Rangers.
2. He's replacing Seamus Coleman.
It's so weird.
The lad has just turned 22.
He's done alright.
Not brilliant, not terrible - just alright. He has time on his side and it's on Dyche/Everton - including our fans to help him progress his game.
Unfortunately we don't have the best environment/circumstances to allow players development time so I'd have Coleman ahead of him when he's fully fit but if we were safe I'd be starting the lad every game. He needs time, and a long run of games in a settled side.

He's been great since October. A revelation and has me doubting my understanding of a full back;
... that said, expectation was/is rock bottom. The thing with Mykolenko, is I couldn't see anything in his game in the final third - amazing to get 2 goals this season, but he still has 0 assists in 60+ Prem appearances.
I'm slowly being converted, but I won't be fully converted until we see the lad beat a man and whip a cross in for a league goal.
With Calvert-Lewin upfront, we need full backs who can provide. Patterson needs to improve that too, think half the games of Mykolenko but 2 league assists.
Maybe because he has started more games than Patterson - that most fans would have liked ....
