2024/25 Nathan Patterson

Can you please research this and post your findings
Yep, not a problem. After our 29th game of the season (away at Fulham on 30th jan) he had played in 25 games, starting 14 of them. He was an unused sub in the other 4. The whole ‘dyche kept him chained in the basement and never let him see a football pitch’ thing was a weird retrofit story after the slap story came out.

Next week we play our weakest opponents since Moyes took over. He's got a full weeks training to make that RB starting spot his own, he just has to force his way past a 39 year old, a 36 year old and a 6' 6" centre half.

Knowing Moyes there’s no way he’s dropping O’Brien given how he’s played last two games. Minimal changes to a winning team unless absolutely required is his MO.

….really impressed with O’Brien. Very surprised he’s started last two games at RB, I gave him MoM today. That is a Moyes selection I’d have not thought of.
The previous manager would have had his mate at right back these last few games.
( & yes he has been OK lately ) but he was seriously hampering the progress of other players that could & should have been coached properly & given a chance.

I'm not surprised , Moyes done the very same with Lescott & Jags.

….presume you mean Young? Young has been very good in one of the best defensive teams in the league. Let’s not forget, Godfrey was a RB under Dyche but I’d not have thought O’Brien would’ve been as effective as he has been.

Good to see Moyes using Young as he should be at this stage in his career.

Speaks for itself.
