…I’m still of a view that another striker might still be on the agenda. I have no issue waiting for Broja if there are positive vibes from Chelsea, but it‘s sheer folly not bringing in an effective striker ahead of the season.

Exactly the same with Gueye in the way of, have we lingered too much when we should have moved on earlier ? And how many points has it / will it cost us. All well and good if we succeed and get them but if we don't questions should be asked to our recruitment team.

This guy is 3rd or 4th down the pecking order at his current club.
He hasn't even played this season!
He would go for free next season as he would've been in the last year of his contract.
If reports are correct Everton will match what Brighton paid for him even though he has had a less than 1 in 4 goal rate.
Most of his appearances have been as a sub.

I'm skeptical about this signing just as I was with Mcneil. I guess as fans we can only hope Frank can get something more out of both of them as we so desperately need some goals.

I have a fond memory of not so long ago when Rodriguez was pinging Hollywood balls to Richy who would either score or pass/cross to Dom to finish. Just in that moment, I thought about how we looked dangerous again. I miss that, sigh!

Happy with this as PART of the striking options.

Fit, dependable, knows the league and has that bit of aggression about him I like.

We’re hardly in a position to find and afford a 25+ goal talisman
