Past the point caring about managers , self centred bunch of egotists.
Only interested in taking obscence amounts of money and raising their profile til a "bigger" club flashes its knickers.
Just hope its not a manager tied up at a club and it gets protracted cos that leaves us on the starting blocks.

Whoever it is tho needs to rip this squad apart before they see off another manager.

That part matters a lot.

There are risks to weigh with Conte no doubt. It may not be worth it. But there is not a better man in terms of getting to a club, implementing his system and getting it to work than Conte. I'm not quick to get behind signing older players but if they have a specific purpose it starts to sound a bit better.

This opinion goes against everything else you say about us building something for the future. He’s a serial winner but he doesn’t leave clubs in good positions once he inevitably has a hissy fit and leaves.

Conte fits the bill he is a winner, but I doubt he would come and he would demand more from the board they wouldn't appoint him. Also he seems to leave team's after two seasons.

Dunno if a guy who quits the champions of Italy over a perceived lack of ambition is quite the sort of character who would come to Goodison....

Yeah I know. It's hard though because he's really good at it. Like good enough that I'd believe he could even do it here. And he plays a way that someone could take over and run with.

If I'm Brands I'd just have to go over the parameters with him. If he says no he says no. But this is why you have a DOF, to make these calls.

I'm worried. Very worried.

Worried because in my mind there was a clear next step under Carlo. There were players there that were worried they had no future.

Now...it's another reset. Those players will relax for the summer and go again in a blue shirt trying to persuade everyone they're good for the club. And loads will buy it.

Fair enough mate - the biggest worry for me was Brands getting a new contract tbh!

Carlo was for me a safe pair of hands but over time was becoming obvious he didnt know how to coach this squad who haven't got world class players littered in it. I honestly think he would have been under big pressure next season and I think he knew it as well.

Im sick of boring 8-12th place Everton anyway so only ways up in my eyes one way or another really. Just bobbing around existing like a Crystal Southampton is utterly boring.

Look at the squads he walked into before you think he’d be great here. All entitled to their own opinion but nah, not for me, we aren’t the sort of club for a Conte yet.

You also can’t say no to Conte or he leaves.
