There are other good candidates besides Rafael Benitez but I would urge us to get over this jibe he made (and guess what, we were acting like a small cloob the way Moyes set us up in those big away games). All he did was pander to the LFC fan base nothing much more than that.

The problem here is that too many people are obsessing over Liverpool instead of loving Everton.

Not sure which of the two bits in bold are the worst bits about the post.

I dont like Benitez, do I hold his small club comment against him? Too right I do,I have a great dislike for Emlyn Hughes and hes been dead years, but, but we got Sheedy, Beardsley, Harper etc what about them? Well they hadn't left the rs dropped down to division one turning out for Hereford or someone, but he loves the city, he lives local, we aren't using Rightmove to employ managers, if he is this wondrous technical genius what was he doing at Newcastle and China,Spurs,Arsenal, Leicester etc all changed managers the last couple of years how come he wasnt taken by them

He was managing our biggest rival and called us a small club. The fact people get so worked up about it says it all. Those clubs didn’t take him because he’s no longer a big name and they had better options on the most part. He left Newcastle because Mike had no intention of pushing them on. He’s no technical genius but we aren’t a prize catch either.
