Its all bluff so the fanbase accept a mediocre appointment in Nuno.
But Nuno doesn't want Dunc, he wants his own entourage.

It'd be nearly as toxic under Nuno.

Why are you certain he would be accepted? No, I just wanted to know why you were so certain. And you are relying wholly on what has gone on before. Well, what if I can list you a whole host of managers who have had successful tenures at rival clubs, what would you say then?
Maybe but Rafael will be toxic division from the start and that looks to be what they are choosing. This club....
For the last time fella, almost everyone I know who doesn't want Benitez, don't want him for footballing reasons. I couldn't care less who he used to manage and what he said in the past about us.Great we'll end up being at the mercy of Mendes all because the fanbase cany get over a small club jibe from 15 years ago lol
Wish we had Abramovich as owner/chairman bloke doesn't give a toss what the fans/media think and does what he thinks best for the club.
I just can't get excited by this fella looked burnt out at Wolves and has never won a trophy.
You know I wouldn't put that past them! Its all bluff so the fanbase accept a mediocre appointment in Nuno.
Rafael gets it it will be the Big Sam era on steroids. Everyone will be divided
It really, really wouldn't.

"What did we expect, he got sacked by Wolves FFS", "the style of football is EXACTLY what we'd knew we'd get", "why do we keep hiring failed managers from smaller clubs" etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
All the in fighting when he is not even coming lol there is 0 chance he will be signed, likewise with Nuno, it's just to make media busy.
Yeah, the reasons people aren't keen/hate it are more varied than he used to be a RS. A lot of people just don't think he'll be very good and that's absolutely their main problem , which is fair enough. But obviously if we were winning then that reasons goneIf he'd started here, left for Liverpool acrimoniously, then tried to come back, it'd be different - 100% would be against him, a la Nick Barmby.
There's no doubt there will be a massive pushback to Benitez from the fans, no denying it, and he'd be pressured out if results are terrible within six months.
But if results are good, the idea that fans would boo him and be holding protests is laughable.
